Today is my last signal

Sorry to inform you that because of lack of interest and a very busy schedule of rebuilding my flooded out house, I must stop this portion of this blog. Thanks and I hope I didn't let anyone down.

Yes, today did it, sent the indicator into the red by quite a bit. This is one mixed up market!

A new up signal was given on Tuesday 6-2-09 I miss-read MMM as 0 when should have been 1 and this put the indicator total into the + column. Unclear market these days but we must follow the market regardless.

Still Holding. Down!

Although the Dow has been firm to uppish the indicator is trending downward and I suspect the market could catch up to the downside soon. Just a feeling since emotions want the market to go up but the indicator says down. Who will win? The market, which is always right.

Still holding

All my indicators save 1 are pointing up. But the one that isn't up is the one that counts and gave a down signal on May 5th. It's the one I follow! So, I find it very interesting that there is such a mix-up and indeed the market is mixed-up too. One day up a 100 + then down, then up, ETC... I reckon they will all be in harmony soon one way or the other. Time will tell but right now odds are on the down side.
Wow! I just noticed the last down signal date is exactly 1 year from when the first signal was given: 5-5-08!

Down Signal.

I didn't think it would happen so quickly but it did. I was sure Monday's strong showing with today's modest decline would keep it on the plus side but it did not. A down signal was given today and so the market should go down. It may be up tomorrow but the trend has changed. For how long? Who cares! Just as long as we are on the right side is what counts.

Thanks anyway

Sorry, since nobody reads this Blog, why beat myself over the head to get it posted? I will post an event like an up or down signal and that is all for now. Check in every so often to see, if you care. Thanks.

The market as I see it.

Why should you listen to me? Because by using certain indicators in a special way I can call market turns. At this time this method is a secret to me. If I revealed it and everyone started using it, then it would no longer work. Now it works and I do this all free of charge. Crazy me!!!
I base my method on the Dow Jones Ind Average. I only use the 30 stocks because it is an easy batch to maintain my indicators by. But it works and there are plenty of opportunities related to the DJIA to play the game. The DJIA generally tracks the market pretty well.
I will be doing this mostly once a week with daily updates when market turns occur. Or I will add a posting if I'm in the mood during the week. At this time I post something almost every day. So do check daily so you don't miss THE critical moment.

Notice I don't say "Buy" or "Sell". I just give the direction the market (DJIA) is likely to take.
Speaking of short, the signals given are of intermediate duration. As you can see these signals are very good. Not perfect as in exact tops and bottoms and indeed, one false Up signal on 9-8-08 but it would have preserved most of your money and would have done quite well on the declines if on the short side. Easy these days.
